Signum

Which is to say, Ink in German:

Should be available next month, I believe. I know that just the other week I signed all the signature sheets and mailed them off to Hannes Riffel, the translator and publisher of the limited edition HB. So if you're in Germany and have been waiting eagerly for the completion of the diptych in your native language, well, lo! It cometh forth!

And Finnish Muste is on its way... And, surprise surprise, Vellum has been nominated for the 2009 Tähtivaeltaja prize!

Eeh! I'm getting flashes of Wagner for some reason. Neat!

Jussi: Yeah, we had to come up with something other than Tinte, so as to not set off weird/wrong associations with Cornelia Funke's kid's books. When Hannes suggested Signum, I was well happy.

Nina: Woot! On both counts!

Jim: Maybe it's the "gn" in there having some sneaky subconscious effect. :)

I saw the picture and got excited thinking a new book was coming out.

Didn't think I could get so excited in the moment between that thought and reading that it's a german translation of Ink.
